Carnival completes first LNG bunkering operation in Latin America

Carnival says it performed the first LNG bunkering of a cruise ship in Latin America and the western Caribbean. The operation refueled Carnival Jubilee at Isla Tropicale in Roatán (Honduras) using a mobile LNG fueling solution. Carnival says Roatán’s location lets LNG-fueled ships refuel with limited disruption on western Caribbean routes. The group now operates 11 LNG-capable cruise ships and expects seven more to join its fleet by end-2033.
