Cheniere completes CCL Stage 3 project
Cheniere completed the seventh and final train of its Corpus Christi Liquefaction Stage 3 expansion on August 28, when Bechtel handed over care, custody and control of the unit. This marks the full substantial completion of the Stage 3 project, after the sixth train was completed in June and first LNG from the first train was produced in December 2024. The seven-train midscale expansion significantly increases Corpus Christi’s output and lifts Cheniere’s total LNG production capacity by over 20%, to around 56 mtpa.
