Edison says QatarEnergy extends force majeure until early November

Edison received a new QatarEnergy force majeure notice, extending disrupted LNG deliveries to Italy until early November 2026. QatarEnergy will miss five additional cargoes to the Adriatic LNG terminal, bringing the total affected to 29 cargoes, or about 3.8 bcm. Edison has already replaced 21 cargoes, equal to roughly 2 bcm, and says it can still meet customer commitments.
