Exmar’s FSU heads to Colombia

Exmar’s converted 146,000-cbm FSU Tura is sailing to Buenaventura, Colombia, to support RDP’s LNG import project. The vessel was converted from the former LNG carrier Ummera/Umm Bab, which Exmar acquired earlier this year. Exmar will lease and operate the FSU for five years, with extension options, with operations expected to start in October 2026. The project will strengthen Colombia’s west coast LNG import capacity and support supply security during El Niño periods.
