Petrobangla Signs Long-Term LNG Supply Deal with Gunvor
Bangladesh’s Petrobangla has signed two LNG supply agreements with Gunvor covering deliveries through 2038. The short-term agreement covers 0.3 mtpa in 2026–2028, with an additional 0.21 Mt in 2028 and 0.7 mtpa from 2029–2038. All volumes will be delivered on a DES basis to Bangladesh. The long-term deal marks Bangladesh’s first contracted LNG supply outside its predominantly Middle Eastern supply portfolio, following disruptions to Qatari LNG deliveries through the Strait of Hormuz.
